Cavity-Enhanced Emission from a Single Germanium Vacancy Center in a Diamond Membrane
Erika Janitz,Rasmus Ramsbøl Jensen,Yannik Fontana,Alexander Huck,Ulrik L. Andersen,Lilian Childress +5 more
- 19 May 2019
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate cavity-coupling between a single GeV center in a micron-thick diamond membrane and a high-finesse fiber cavity.
Sideband cavity absorption readout (SideCAR) with a robust frequency lock.
F. C. Rodrigues-Machado,Pauline Pestre,Vincent Dumont,Simon Bernard,Erika Janitz,Liam Scanlon,Shirin A. Enger,Lilian Childress,Jack C. Sankey +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a cavity-enhanced optical absorption measurement technique based on high-bandwidth PDH sideband locking is presented, which provides a resonant amplitude quadrature readout that can be mapped onto the cavity's internal loss rate and is naturally compatible with weak probe beams.
Spins strain to see the light
Lilian Childress,Jack C. Sankey +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, an optomechanical resonator was used to offer a strain-mediated spin-photon interface for long-distance quantum networks, where the frequency mismatch between the resonator and the radio frequency was exploited.
Cavity-enhanced detection of transient absorption signals
Fernanda C. Rodrigues-Machado,Pauline Pestre,Liam Scanlon,Shirin A. Enger,Jack C. Sankey,Lilian Childress +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a cavity-enhanced optical absorption measurement technique based on delay-limited Pound-Drever-Hall (PDH) sideband locking is presented. But the method is limited to a 5-cm-long Fabry-Perot cavity with a 450 kHz bandwidth.
