TL;DR: In this paper, how to design smart materials and how it applies to the biomedical fields are introduced, and the development of polymer chemistry that precisely controls the molecular chain has contributed to the developing of smart materials.
A Diels-Alder polymer platform for thermally enhanced drug release toward efficient local cancer chemotherapy.
Nanami Fujisawa,Nanami Fujisawa,Masato Takanohashi,Masato Takanohashi,Lili Chen,Koichiro Uto,Yoshitaka Matsumoto,Masayuki Takeuchi,Masayuki Takeuchi,Mitsuhiro Ebara,Mitsuhiro Ebara,Mitsuhiro Ebara +11 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that DA/rDA-based thermally enhanced drug release systems can serve as a local drug release platform and deliver the target drug within locally heated tissue, thereby improving the therapeutic efficiency and overcoming the side effects of conventional drugs used to treat pancreatic cancer.
A Smart Hyperthermia Nanofiber-Platform-Enabled Sustained Release of Doxorubicin and 17AAG for Synergistic Cancer Therapy.
Lili Chen,Nanami Fujisawa,Nanami Fujisawa,Masato Takanohashi,Masato Takanohashi,Mazaya Najmina,Mazaya Najmina,Koichiro Uto,Mitsuhiro Ebara,Mitsuhiro Ebara,Mitsuhiro Ebara +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate the rational fabrication of a magnetic composite nanofiber mesh that can achieve mutual synergy of hyperthermia, chemotherapy, and thermo-molecularly targeted therapy for highly potent therapeutic effects.
