TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the incorporation of He as a possible route to form a direct band gap in Si and showed that He and Si, at high pressure, form four dynamically stable phases of Si2He (oP36-Si2He, tP9-Si 2He, mC18-Si 3 He, and mC12-Si 4 He).
Physical Mechanism and Chemical Trends in the Thermal Expansion of Inorganic Halide Perovskites.
TL;DR: The thermal properties of halide perovskites at 300 K using oxides as a reference were investigated in this article , where the authors found that the large thermal expansion of halides can mainly be attributed to their low bulk modulus and volumetric heat capacity, whereas composition-dependent anharmonicity emerges as the most important factor in determining thermal expansion with the same structure.
