Characterization of leaf rust resistance in a set of wheat-Thinopyrum amphiploid-derived hexaploid breeding lines
Dece Sheng,Min-Jie Liu,Xiaojun Zhang,Linyi Qiao,Lifang Chang,Huijuan rer. nat. Guo,Shuwei Zhang,Fangyuan Chen,Zongying Yuan,Chengbu Liu,Xin Li,Feng Zhang,Zhijian Chang +12 more
TL;DR: In this article , a total of 170 hexaploid breeding lines, which have similar morphology with wheat and were derived from crosses of wheat-thinopyrum ponticum or wheat-Th. intermedium partial amphiploids with susceptible wheat cultivars, were inoculated with the selected Chinese Pt races for evaluating seedling leaf rust response in the greenhouse.

Genetic Incorporation of the Favorable Alleles for Three Genes Associated With Spikelet Development in Wheat
Xiaojun Zhang,Linyi Qiao,Xin Li,Zujun Yang,Chengbu Liu,Huijuan rer. nat. Guo,Jun Zheng,Shuwei Zhang,Lifang Chang,Fangyuan Chen,Juqing Jia,Liuling Yan,Zhijian Chang +12 more
TL;DR: In this article , three quantitative trait loci (QTLs) associated with spikelet nodes per spike (SNS) were mapped in a population of recombinant inbred lines generated from a cross between two advanced breeding lines of winter wheat based on the phenotypic variation evaluated over six locations/years.
Fine mapping of a recessive leaf rust resistance locus on chromosome 2BS in wheat accession CH1539
Dece Sheng,Linyi Qiao,Xiaojun Zhang,Xin Li,Lifang Chang,Huijuan rer. nat. Guo,Shuwei Zhang,Fangyuan Chen,Zhijian Chang +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , a genetic linkage map of LrCH1539 was constructed using the developed 2BS chromosome-specific markers, and its flanking markers were sxau-2BS136 and sxAU- 2BS81.
Mapping of a Major-Effect Quantitative Trait Locus for Seed Dormancy in Wheat
Yu Gao,Linyi Qiao,Chao Mei,Lina Nong,Qiqi Li,Xiaojun Zhang,Rui Li,Wei Gao,Fangyuan Chen,Lifang Chang,Shuwei Zhang,Huijuan Guo,Tianling Cheng,Huiqin Wen,Zhijian Chang,Xin Li +15 more
TL;DR: Mapping of a major-effect quantitative trait locus (QTL) for seed dormancy in wheat identified a novel QTL QGp/Gi.sxau-6B that has a strong and broad effect on seed dormancy.
