TL;DR: In this article, LiNi 0.5 Mn 1.5 O 4 films as a cathode material were prepared by pulsed laser deposition on stainless steel substrates, and X-ray diffraction and Field-emission Scanning Electron Microscope results showed that the film deposited at 750°C exhibits good crystallinity with well-defined grains structure.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of surface modification on interfacial reactions of LNMO were studied and it was found that 20nm thick Al 2 O 3 coating layer improves thermal stability most obviously among them.
