TL;DR: In this paper, the Ni-modified thermoplastic phenolic resins were used for high temperature polymerization, and the results showed that the best carbonization temperature is 10 °C/min at 1100°C for 3 h, and a large number of carbon nanotubes are formed in the pyrolytic carbon.
