Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), with diverse framework architectures, have evolved as next-generation utility multifunctional hybrid materials. One of the key features of MOFs is their luminescence properties, which can be generated from the building ligands, emissive metal ions, guest ions, or molecules used to construct them as well as from their catalytic activities. MOFs with luminescent properties have been used as excellent platforms for designing luminescent sensors. Their chemically tailorable framework with specific host–guest interactions plays an important role in selectively sensing metal ions, small organic molecules, and biomolecules. This review intends to summarize the recent advances in the construction of MOF-based sensors for chemical sensing and biosensing. Specially, we focus on the fabrication strategies of MOF-based luminescent sensors, and summarize their sensing mechanisms in detail. Also, the major challenges and constraints for this research field are discussed.

Purpose COVID-19 has affected the health and well-being of tens of millions of people and contributed to smartphone addiction. The prior studies found several characteristics that influenced smartphone addiction, but little research was undertaken on the epidemic. This study aims to test a moderated mediation model of smartphone addiction. Methods Three classes in each grade from grade 7 through grade 9 at random were recruited in the target junior high schools. A total of 931 Chinese adolescents (Mage=13.54 years, SDage =1.08) completed valid questionnaires via online surveys from February 5–19, 2021. Results Parent phubbing had a positive effect on smartphone addiction. Boredom proneness played a mediating role in this relationship. Additionally, refusal self-efficacy moderated the effect of parent phubbing on smartphone addiction. Refusal self-efficacy moderated the effect of boredom proneness on smartphone addiction. Conclusion Findings of this study shed light on a correlation between parent phubbing and smartphone addiction. Moreover, this study emphasizes the value of intervening in adolescents’ boredom proneness and increasing the ability of refusal self-efficacy to prevent and intervene in the context of COVID-19.

The invention provides synthesis of an Eu-MOFs material and application of the material in antibiotic identification and belongs to the field of rare earth functional materials. A chemical molecular formula is [(Eu)(L)(NO3)[HOCN(CH3)2]n, wherein n only represents only internal molecules of the material to form infinite and alternate arrangement of a simplest molecular formula, and L represents 5-(3-(4-tetrazolyl)phenyl) isophthalic acid. The synthesis of the metal-organic metal frame material adopts a solvothermal method, a synthetic product of the method has very high stability in an N,N-dimethyl formamide (DMF) solution, the yield is higher, and nidazole antibiotics such as s metronidazole (MDZ), ornidazole (ODZ) and ronidazole (RDZ) can be selectively identified from (DMF) solutions containing a variety of antibiotics.
