Spectra, Stability and Labeling of a Novel Carbazole Derivative as a Fluorescent Turn-on DNA Probe
TL;DR: The novel fluorescent dye, 1-(6-carboxyhexyl)-4-(2-(9-ethyl-carbazole-3-yl) vinyl) quinolizinium bromide, was synthesized and showed an excellent turn-on effect upon binding with ctDNA and its structure was characterized by 1H NMR, 13C-NMR, IR and HRMS.

TL;DR: The results showed that the fluorescence intensity is enhanced when labeling with BSA and the binding ability is stronger than ctDNA, making it may be used as a biological probe.
