A new chemiluminescence method for the determination of nickel ion.
TL;DR: A new chemiluminescence phenomenon described as the second-chemilumineinescence (SCL) was observed and a strong CL signal was detected, when Ni(II) ion was injected into the mixture after the end of the reaction of potassium permanganate with alkaline luminol.

Permanganate-based chemiluminescence analysis of ferulic acid using flow injection.
TL;DR: A simple, sensitive and rapid flow-injection chemiluminescence method has been developed for the determination of ferulic acid based on the chemilumscence reaction offerulic acid with potassium permanganate in a nitric acid medium with satisfactory results.

Second Chemiluminescence Behavior of Fe2+, Fe3+ and Cr3+ in the Luminal-KMnO4 System
TL;DR: A novel flow injection chemiluminescence (CL) method has been developed for the determination of three metal ions, namely Fe2+, Fe3+ and Cr3+, based on the second CL signal of the mixture of luminal with KMnO4 in a sodium hydroxide medium by the catalysis of Fe2+ or Cr3+.
