Cryopreservation of ginseng pollen
TL;DR: Viability of pollen from P. quinquefolium anthers with 25.3% moisture content changed little after 11 months of liquid N storage, while pollen viability and fertility in two ginseng species after liquid Nstorage was studied.
Effects of Soil Microbiomes and Enzymatic Activities on Glechoma longituba
Li Liu,Lin Jin,Qiaosheng Guo +2 more
TL;DR: The genera of Tomentella, Sebacina, Fusarium, Nitrospira, and the activity of soil sucrase were remarkably correlative with both the morphological indices and the contents of bioactive compounds of G. longituba by redundancy analysis, which would help guide the scientific plantation of the crop to promote its medicinal quality.
Variation in bioactive compounds of Glechoma longituba and its influential factors: Implication for advanced cultivation strategies
TL;DR: The results laid the first theoretical foundation for further study of how to improve the quality of Glechoma longituba resources, as well as provided guidance for breeders to focus more on choosing planting areas with ideal climate conditions and modulating the optimum soil chemical properties for better GleChoma long ituba cultivation.
