Efficient red organic light-emitting diodes based on a dinuclear europium complex
TL;DR: In this article, a pure red organic light-emitting diodes based on a dinuclear europium complex with a structure of (TTA)(3)Eu(PYO)(2), Eu(TTA)3, TTA = thenoyltrifluoroacetonate, PYO = pyridine N-oxide) were presented, which showed pure red emission at a peak wavelength of 612 nm with a full width at half maximum of 3 nm, which is a characteristic emission from Eu3+ ion based

Efficient electroluminescent tertiary europium(III) β-diketonate complex with functional 2,2′-bipyridine ligand
TL;DR: In this article, a new red electroluminescent complex (2Fphen-bpy)Eu(DBM)3 was designed and synthesized, and an X-ray single crystal structural analysis showed that the dihedral angles involving the difluorophenylene moiety and two pyridine rings of the 2,2′-bipyridine unit in 2FphenbpyEu (DBM)-3 are 42° and 51.6°, indicant of nonconjugation between the two segments.
