ЭТНОС И ЭТНИЧЕСКАЯ КУЛЬТУРА: ТРАДИЦИОННЫЕ И СОВРЕМЕННЫЕ ФОРМЫ СУЩЕСТВОВАНИЯ Статья раскрывает содержание понятий "этнос" и "этническая культура" с целью определения современных форм и способов их существования. Интерпретация данных понятий является ключевым аспектом в понимании проблем социокультурной динамики этнической культуры сегодня. Основное внимание автор акцентирует на том, что главным инструментом этнической консолидации людей выступает культура, которая наследуется в традиционной форме. В связи с этим можно констатировать, что в процессе этногенеза формируются две равнозначные составляющие: этническая популяция и этническая культурная система. This study shows how Kierkegaard's mature theological writings reflect his engagement with the wide range of theological positions which he encountered as a student, including German and Danish Romanticism, Hegelianism and the writings of Fichte and Schleiermacher. George Pattison draws on both major and lesser-known works to show the complexity and nuances of Kierkegaard's theological position, which remained closer to Schleiermacher's affirmation of religion as a 'feeling of absolute dependence' than to the Barthian denial of any 'point of contact', with which he is often associated. Pattison also explores ways in which Kierkegaard's theological thought can be related to thinkers such as Heidegger and John Henry Newman, and its continuing relevance to present-day debates about secular faith. His volume will be of great interest to scholars and students of philosophy and theology.

Written at a time of crisis in the project of social and political modernity, Fyodor Dostoevsky's 1864 novel Notes from Underground offers an intriguing parallel for the twenty-first century lone-wolf; it portrays an abject, outcast, spiteful unnamed anti-hero boiling with rage, bitter with resentment and on the verge of radicalisation. A Girardian reading of the poetic truths contained in Dostoevsky's work is able to provide important keys to explain the contemporary transformation from 'fourth-wave' religious terrorism to 'fifth-wave' lone-wolf terrorism. Such a reading argues that it is mimetic rivalry - rather than much-trumpeted forms of religious violence or cultural differences - that fuels the triangular relation between governments, terrorists and civilian victims at heart of terrorist acts. This approach is further able to blend social inquiry with an account of the individual, in fact anthropological, conditions of lone-wolf terrorism by tracing the globalisation of resentment and the individualisation of violence to the hyper-mimeticism characterising the globalisation of late modernity. Finally, a mimetic reading of 'fifth-wave' terrorism accounts for the turbulence of a global politics in which victimhood and scapegoating no longer have the ability to stabilise social order and warns against a future where violence proliferates and escalates unchecked.
