Measurement-Based Probabilistic Timing Analysis for Multi-path Programs
Liliana Cucu-Grosjean,Luca Santinelli,Michael Houston,Code Lo,Tullio Vardanega,Leonidas Kosmidis,Jaume Abella,Enrico Mezzetti,Eduardo Quinones,Francisco J. Cazorla +9 more
- 11 Jul 2012
TL;DR: A sound measurement-based probabilistic timing analysis technique based on Extreme Value Theory that requires a comparatively low number of measurement runs of the program under analysis and the timing bounds determined were less than 15% pessimistic.
PROARTIS: Probabilistically Analyzable Real-Time Systems
Francisco J. Cazorla,Eduardo Quinones,Tullio Vardanega,Liliana Cucu,Benoit Triquet,Guillem Bernat,Emery D. Berger,Jaume Abella,Franck Wartel,Michael Houston,Luca Santinelli,Leonidas Kosmidis,Code Lo,Dorin Maxim +13 more
TL;DR: Probabilistic timing analysis is presented, a novel approach to the analysis of the timing behavior of next-generation real-time embedded systems and how this method attacks the timing analysis walls is shown.

A cache design for probabilistically analysable real-time systems
Leonidas Kosmidis,Jaume Abella,Eduardo Quinones,Francisco J. Cazorla +3 more
- 18 Mar 2013
TL;DR: A novel parametric random placement suitable for PTA is proposed that is proven to have low hardware complexity and energy consumption while providing comparable performance to that of conventional modulo placement.

Measurement-based probabilistic timing analysis: Lessons from an integrated-modular avionics case study
Franck Wartel,Leonidas Kosmidis,Code Lo,Benoit Triquet,Eduardo Quinones,Jaume Abella,Adriana Gogonel,Andrea Baldovin,Enrico Mezzetti,Liliana Cucu,Tullio Vardanega,Francisco J. Cazorla +11 more
- 19 Jun 2013
TL;DR: The application of MBPTA to a real avionics system and lessons learned in that process are presented and it is interesting to see how PTA responds to them.
PROARTIS: Probabilistically Analysable Real-Time Systems

- 26 Jan 2012
TL;DR: Probabilistic Timing Analysis is presented, a novel approach to the analysis of the timing behaviour of next-generation real-time embedded systems and how it reduces the extent of knowledge about the execution platform required to produce probabilistically-safe and tight WCET estimations.
