Use of N-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate in elective surgical incisions--longterm outcomes.
TL;DR: Administration of N-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate for the closure of small low-tension surgical incisions in the pediatric population is safe, has a low complication rate, and produces excellent cosmetic outcomes.

Effect of Transforming Growth Factor-α on Intestinal Adaptation in a Rat Model of Short Bowel Syndrome
Igor Sukhotnik,Evgeny Yakirevich,Arnold G. Coran,Leonardo Siplovich,Michael Krausz,Mark Hirsh,Edmund Sabo,Eitan Shiloni +7 more
TL;DR: In a rat model of SBS, TGF-α enhances intestinal adaptation in a rat following massive bowel resection and possible mechanisms may include increased cell proliferation and decreased enterocyte loss via apoptosis.

Lipopolysaccharide endotoxemia reduces cell proliferation and decreases enterocyte apopotosis during intestinal adaptation in a rat model of short-bowel syndrome
Igor Sukhotnik,Evgeny Yakirevich,Arnold G. Coran,Leonardo Siplovich,Michael M. Krausz,Edmund Sabo,Alexander Kramer,Eitan Shiloni +7 more
TL;DR: In a rat model of SBS, LPS endotoxemia inhibits intestinal adaptation and led to reduced cell proliferation and enterocyte apoptosis compared to untreated SBS animals, suggesting a possible mechanism may be decreased cell proliferation.
Varicocele Treatment in Pubertal Boys Prevents Testicular Growth Arrest
TL;DR: Data support the notion that testicular hypotrophy related to varicocele may be reversed by early intervention and they further strengthen the indication for varicocelectomy in children.
