Preparation and photoactivity of nanostructured TiO2 particles obtained by hydrolysis of TiCl4
M. Addamo,Vincenzo Augugliaro,Agatino Di Paola,Elisa I. García-López,Vittorio Loddo,Giuseppe Marcì,Leonardo Palmisano +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the preparation of nanostructured polycrystalline TiO2 photocatalysts obtained by hydrolysis of TiCl4 in very mild conditions was reported.

Cu-substituted lanthanum ferrite perovskites: Preparation, characterization and photocatalytic activity in gas-solid regime under simulated solar light irradiation
Francesco Parrino,Elisa I. García-López,Giuseppe Marcì,Leonardo Palmisano,Valeria Felice,I. Natali Sora,Lidia Armelao +6 more
TL;DR: The photocatalytic activity of the Cu containing LaFeOO 3 perovskites increased by increasing the Cu amount up to 10% and hence slightly decreased for higher copper contents.
70
Influence of activated carbon in TiO2 and ZnO mediated photo-assisted degradation of 2-propanol in gas–solid regime
TL;DR: In this paper, the presence of activated carbon (AC) along with TiO 2 in binary materials increased the photocatalytic ability of the bare semiconductor to completely oxidize the substrate, indicating a synergy between the semiconductor and AC.

Photocatalytic oxidation of cyanide in aqueous TiO2 suspensions irradiated by sunlight in mild and strong oxidant conditions
Vincenzo Augugliaro,J. Blanco Gálvez,J. Cáceres Vázquez,E. Garcia Lopez,Vittorio Loddo,M. J. López Muñoz,S. Malato Rodrı́guez,Giuseppe Marcì,Leonardo Palmisano,Mario Schiavello,J.Soria Ruiz +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of the presence of an organic compound (phenol) or of a strong oxidant (H2O2) on the photoprocess was also studied.

Performance of Heterogeneous Photocatalytic Systems: Influence of Operational Variables on Photoactivity of Aqueous Suspension of TiO2
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of incident light intensity and some physical and chemical parameters on the absorbed and backward reflected photon flow and on the reactivity of a heterogeneous photocatalytic system was investigated.
