The in vitro Effect of Oxidized LDL and PHA on Proliferation and Gene Expression of Regulatory T Cells in Patients with Atherosclerosis
Azadeh Mottaghi,Eisa Salehi,S H Sezavar,Seyed Ali Keshavarz,Mohammad Reza Eshraghian,Nima Rezaei,Leili Rejali,Ali Akbar Saboor-Yaraghi +7 more
TL;DR: Investigation of the effects of ox-LDL as well as PHA on proliferation and gene expression of peripheral blood mononuclear cells in patients with atherosclerosis compared to healthy controls found decreased expression of TGF-β and Foxp3 genes may be due to more sensitivity of Treg cells than effector T cells to ox- LDL.
Principles of Molecular Utility for CMS Classification in Colorectal Cancer Management
Leili Rejali,Fatemeh Sanjabi,N Fatemi,Hamid Asadzadeh Aghdaei,Mahsa Saeedi Niasar,Pardis Ketabi Moghadam,Ehsan Nazemalhosseini Mojarad,Enrico Mini,Stefania Nobili +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors contextualized the consensus molecular subtype (CMS) classification in different settings, discussing its relationships with precursor lesions, tumor immunophenotype, and gut microbiota, as well as its role in predicting prognosis and/or response to pharmacological treatments, as a crucial step towards precision medicine.
The association of clinicopathological characterizations of colorectal cancer with membrane-bound mucins genes and LncRNAs.
Hossein Iranmanesh,Maliheh Entezari,Leili Rejali,Ehsan Nazemalhosseini Mojarad,Mazaher Maghsoudloo,Hamid Asadzadeh Aghdaei,Mohammad Reza Zali,Kiavash Hushmandi,Navid Rabiee,Pooyan Makvandi,Milad Ashrafizadeh,M. Hashemi +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the expression of colorectal cancer (CRC) genes and its relationship with clinicopathological variables was investigated in a prospective case-control study, which revealed changes in expression level of mucin genes and lncRNAs in CRC and its different stages, showing that they can be considered as biomarkers for diagnosis of this cancer.

Identification of antisense and sense RNAs of intracrine fibroblast growth factor components as novel biomarkers in colorectal cancer and in silico studies for drug and nanodrug repurposing.
Leili Rejali,Ehsan Nazemalhosseini Mojarad,Laura Valle,Mazaher Maghsoudloo,Hamid Asadzadeh Aghdaei,Hadis Mohammadpoor,Mohammad Reza Zali,Binazir Khanabadi,Maliheh Entezari,Kiavash Hushmandi,Afshin Taheriazam,Mehrdad Hashemi +11 more
TL;DR: Developing novel biomarkers based on iFGF can be considered as a promising strategy for CRC screening as the artificial intelligence revealed the valproic acid as a repurposing drug to relief the down regulation of FGF12 and 13 in CRC patients.

Identification of LncPVT1 and CircPVT1 as prognostic biomarkers in human colorectal polyps
Mahsa RezaSoltani,Flora Forouzesh,Zahra Salehi,Mohammad Zabihi,Leili Rejali,Ehsan Nazemalhosseini Mojarad +5 more
TL;DR: In this study, expression profiles of LncPVT1 and CircP VT1 were significantly higher in precancerous polyps and, based on in silico analysis, Lnc PVT1, CircPVT 1/miR-484, miR-24-3p, mi R-423-5p/PLAGL2 axis might be involved in colon cancer development.
