Severe Pneumonia Caused by Coinfection With Influenza Virus Followed by Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus Induces Higher Mortality in Mice
Leili Jia,Leili Jia,Jiangyun Zhao,Jiangyun Zhao,Chaojie Yang,Yuan Liang,Pengwei Long,Xiao Liu,Shaofu Qiu,Ligui Wang,Jing Xie,Hao Li,Hongbo Liu,Weiguang Guo,Shan Wang,Peng Li,Binghua Zhu,Rongzhang Hao,Hui Ma,Yong Jiang,Hongbin Song,Hongbin Song +21 more
TL;DR: The data suggest that prevention of bacterial co-infection in the early stage of influenza virus infection is critical to reducing the risk of clinical mortality.
The phenotypic and molecular characteristics of antimicrobial resistance of Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Typhimurium in Henan Province, China.
Nian Dong,Yongrui Li,Jiayong Zhao,Hui Ma,Jinyan Wang,Beibei Liang,Xinying Du,Fuli Wu,Shengli Xia,Xiaoxia Yang,Hongbo Liu,Chaojie Yang,Shaofu Qiu,Hongbin Song,Leili Jia,Yan Li,Yansong Sun +16 more
TL;DR: The high level of antibiotic resistance observed in S. Typhimurium poses a great danger to public health, so continuous surveillance of changes in antibiotic resistance is necessary.
Genetic characterisation of a complex class 1 integron in an NDM-1-producing Citrobacter freundii ST396 clinical strain isolated from a urine sample
