Effect of Electrolyte on Synergism for Reducing Interfacial Tension between Betaine and Petroleum Sulfonate
TL;DR: In this paper, the mechanisms responsible for the effect of electrolyte on the interfacial tensions of mixed solutions containing zwitterionic surfactant alkyl sulfobetaine (ASB) and anionic sur...

A Local Active Contour Model for Image Segmentation with Intensity Inhomogeneity
TL;DR: A novel locally statistical active contour model (ACM) for image segmentation in the presence of intensity inhomogeneity is presented and the superiority of the proposed algorithm to state-of-the-art and representative methods is demonstrated.
Hyperspectral Image Classification With Data Augmentation and Classifier Fusion
TL;DR: Since both data augmentation and classifier fusion are effective to deal with limited samples, the proposed method shows superior performance in the classification of HSIs, which can be demonstrated by the experimental results on two benchmark HSI data sets.

Long-distance transmission of quantum key distribution coexisting with classical optical communication over weakly-coupled few-mode fiber
Bi-Xiao Wang,Yingqiu Mao,Lei Shen,Lei Zhang,Xiaobo Lan,Dawei Ge,Yuyang Gao,Juhao Li,Yan-Lin Tang,Shi-Biao Tang,Jun Zhang,Teng-Yun Chen,Jian-Wei Pan +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, a QKD implementation coexisting with classical optical communication over weakly-coupled FMF using all-fiber mode-selective couplers is presented.

Synergistic therapy for orthotopic gliomas via biomimetic nanosonosensitizer-mediated sonodynamic therapy and ferroptosis.
TL;DR: This study presents a novel combinatorial glioma therapeutic strategy based on noninvasive BBB opening with a biomimetic sonotheranostic system-mediated SDT and ferroptosis and demonstrates that the gliomas C6 cell membrane (CM) on the surface of the NPs allowed the nanosonosensitizer to accumulate selectively in tumors through homologous targeting in vitro.
