Hypoxia preconditioned renal tubular epithelial cell-derived extracellular vesicles alleviate renal ischaemia-reperfusion injury mediated by the HIF-1α/Rab22 pathway and potentially affected by microRNAs.
Lei Zhang,Han Liu,Kai Xu,Zhixin Ling,Yeqing Huang,Qiang Hu,Kai Lu,Chunhui Liu,Yiduo Wang,Ning Liu,Xiaowen Zhang,Bin Xu,Jianping Wu,Shuqiu Chen,Guangyuan Zhang,Ming Chen +15 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that HIF-1α/Rab22 pathway mediated RTEC-derived EVs during RIPC protected renal I/R injury potentially through differentially expressed miRNAs.
OsJAZ13 Negatively Regulates Jasmonate Signaling and Activates Hypersensitive Cell Death Response in Rice
TL;DR: Gene-expression analysis suggested the role of OsJAZ13 in modulating the expression of JA/ethylene response-related genes to regulate growth and activate hypersensitive cell death in plants and these observations describe a novel regulatory mechanism in rice.

Effect of Cu/In ratio and shell thickness on the photo-stability of CuInS2/ZnS nanocrystals
TL;DR: In this article, a time-resolved photoluminescence study revealed that a broad PL peak consists of the contribution from two kinds of donor-acceptor pairs (DAPs), and as indicated by photo-stability measurements, higher energy DAPs are sensitive to irradiation, resulting in the photo-instability of CuInS2 NCs.

Revisiting the effects of Co2O3 on multiscale defect structures and relevant electrical properties in ZnO varistors
Men Guo,Yao Wang,Kangning Wu,Lei Zhang,Xia Zhao,Ying Lin,Jianying Li +6 more
- 01 Jun 2020
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of Co dopant on electrical properties are investigated from the aspect of multiscale defect structures, including intrinsic point defects, the heterogeneous interface of depletion/intergranular layers, and interface states at grain boundaries.

Doping bismuth oxyhalides with Indium: A DFT calculations on tuning electronic and optical properties
TL;DR: In this paper, the density functional theory (DFT) calculations indicate that indium doping in bismuth oxyhalides (BiOXs, X = F, Cl, Br and I) could overcome this issue through increasing the light absorption and improving the potential for water reduction.
