TL;DR: In this paper , a moderated mediating model was constructed to examine the critical role of negative emotions and life motivation in the relationship between conflict and the well-being of college athletes, and the results showed that negative emotions played an important mediating role between academics-athletics conflict and athletes' life satisfaction.
