Global gene expression analysis of peripheral blood mononuclear cells in rhesus monkey infants with CA16 infection-induced HFMD.
Jie Song,Yajie Hu,Yunguang Hu,Jingjing Wang,Xiaolong Zhang,Lichun Wang,Lei Guo,Yancui Wang,Ruotong Ning,Yun Liao,Ying Zhang,Huiwen Zheng,Haijing Shi,Zhanlong He,Qihan Li,Longding Liu +15 more
TL;DR: The results revealed the gene expression profile of the immune system in response to CA16 in rhesus monkey infants and suggested that such an immune response was generated as a result of the positive mobilization of theimmune system.

Association between sarcopenia with incident cardio-cerebrovascular disease: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Miao Fang,Chunhua Liu,Yuan Liu,Guo Tang,Chunling Li,Lei Guo +5 more
TL;DR: Sarcopenia and sarcopenic obesity are significantly associated with an elevated risk of developing CCVD, however, further prospective cohort studies are warranted to validate this relationship while controlling for confounding factors.

The correlation of clinicopathological features and prognosis in extranodal natural killer/T cell lymphoma: a report of 42 cases in the early stage
TL;DR: Multivariate statistics indicated that the LDH level and the treatment approach were not independent prognostic factors of ENKTCL, and there was no statistical difference between epidemiological factors such as gender, age, and other clinicopathological factors including tumor location, B symptoms, β2-microglobulin levels before treatment, and prognosis.

Distinct MET Protein Localization Associated With MET Exon 14 Mutation Types in Patients With Non-small-cell Lung Cancer.
Tian Qiu,Weihua Li,Tong-Tong Zhang,Puyuan Xing,Wenting Huang,Bingning Wang,Lixia Chu,Lei Guo,Xiuyun Liu,Yan Li,Jianming Ying,Junling Li +11 more
TL;DR: Different MET exon 14 mutation types were identified in a subset of Chinese patients with NSCLC who could possibly benefit from MET targeted therapy.

Pulmonary immune cells and inflammatory cytokine dysregulation are associated with mortality of IL-1R1 -/-mice infected with influenza virus (H1N1).
Lei Guo,Yancui Wang,Jun-Jie Mei,Ruotong Ning,Jingjing Wang,Jiaqi Li,Xi Wang,Huiwen Zheng,Haitao Fan,Longding Liu +9 more
TL;DR: Results suggest that IL-1 signaling is associated with pulmonary anti-influenza immune response and inflammatory lung injury, particularly via the influence on neutrophil mobilization and inflammatory cytokine/chemokine production.
