TL;DR: Investigation of the role of microRNA-21 in hepatocellular carcinoma and its underlying regulatory mechanism provides evidence that miR-21 promotes migration and invasion in HCC through the mi-21-PDCD4-AP-1 feedback loop, suggesting that targeting this loop may represent a promising strategy in the management of HCC.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that pharmacological inhibition or knockout of USP8 can inhibit the progression of HCC and induce ferroptosis via decreasing the stability of OGT, which imposes a great challenge that targeting of USp8 is a potential approach for HCC treatment.
