H. V. Eichel,Johanne Heine,Florian Wegner,Sophia Rogozinski,Stephanie Stiel,Adrian Groh,Lea Krey,Günter U. Höglinger,Martin Klietz +8 more
TL;DR: Since neuropsychiatric symptoms were one of the main predictors for caregiver burden, physicians of PwP should treat these symptoms to stabilize caregIVER burden, as well as HR-QoL in PWP and their caregivers.

HOMER‐3 Antibodies Were Not Detected in Two German Cohorts of Patients with Multiple System Atrophy
Martin Klietz,Sabrina Katzdobler,Johannes Levin,Florian Wegner,Matthias Höllerhage,Franziska Hopfner,Lea Krey,Johanne Heine,Thomas Skripuletz,Günter U. Höglinger +9 more
TL;DR: The preexisting data indicate that HOMER-3 antibody associated cerebellar ataxia may be a rare, but potentially treatable differential diagnosis for MSA, and systematic screening of all patients with clinically suspected MSA cannot be generally recommended.

Höglinger,Martin Klietz +28 more
TL;DR: A retrospective analysis of 348 PSP patients found no significant gender differences in motor skills, disease severity, or cognitive status, but male patients exhibited higher apathy scores compared to female patients.
The comorbidity profiles and medication issues of patients with multiple system atrophy: a systematic cross-sectional analysis.

Klockgether,Olaf Krause,Johannes Heck,G. Höglinger,Martin Klietz +46 more
TL;DR: MSA patients face a substantial burden of comorbidities, notably in the genitourinary system, and the risk of potential drug-drug interactions, including severe interactions and contraindicated combinations, was elevated in MSA patients.
