TL;DR: It is concluded that the epitranscriptomic writer ALKBH8 plays a protective role against naphthalene-induced lung dysfunction and promotes naphthaene tolerance, and provides an early example of how epitranscriptionomic systems can regulate the response to environmental stress in vivo.
