Challenges in Automated Commercial Aircraft Production
Felix Gehlhoff,Hamied Nabizada,Maximilian Weigand,Lasse Beers,Omar Ismail,Alexander Wenzel,Alexander Fay,Peter Nyhuis,Wladislav Lagutin,Martin Röhrig +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , an integrated and Digital Twin-based system design approach, flexible and modular robotics to support workers with unergonomic tasks and a flexible intralogistics based on Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) are integrated into an approach that uses semantic technologies to connect the different components across different levels of functionality and different life cycle phases.

MBSE Modeling Workflow for the Development of Automated Aircraft Production Systems
Lasse Beers,Max Weigand,Hamied Nabizada,Alexander Fay +3 more
- 12 Sep 2023
TL;DR: A SysML-based modeling workflow that supports the conceptual engineering of automated production systems and is validated by applying it in the engineering of an automated production system that is used in aircraft manufacturing.

A Mapping Approach to Convert MTPs into a Capability and Skill Ontology
Aljosha Kocher,Lasse Beers,Alexander Fay +2 more
- 03 May 2022
TL;DR: In this paper , a comparison of the MTP with a skill-based approach as well as an automated mapping that can be used to transfer the contents of an MTP into a skill ontology is presented.

Precomputing reconfiguration strategies based on stochastic timed game automata
Hendrik Göttmann,Birte Caesar,Lasse Beers,Malte Lochau,Andy Schürr,Alexander Fay +5 more
- 23 Oct 2022
TL;DR: This paper proposes a game-theoretic setting for precomputing reconfiguration decisions under partially uncertain real-time behavior, and employs stochastic timed game automata as reconfigurations model to derive winning strategies which enable the first player to make fast look-ups for presumably best-fitting reconfigured decisions satisfying the second player.

A SysML Profile for the Standardized Description of Processes during System Development
Lasse Beers,Hamied Nabizada,Max Weigand,Felix Gehlhoff,Alexander Fay +4 more
TL;DR: A SysML profile for standardized process description integrates VDI/VDE 3682 with SysML, extending classical SysML with domain-specific requirements and facilitating model verification and serialization.
