Taurine levels in discrete brain nuclei of rats.
TL;DR: Increased locomotor and behavioral activities following a high dose of amphetamine elevated taurine concentrations significantly in the substantia nigra and locus ceruleus.

Concentrations of GABA and glycine in discrete brain nuclei. Stress-induced changes in the levels of inhibitory amino acids.
TL;DR: Increased motor and behavioral activity after the acute administration of a large dose of amphetamine were associated with a 2-5-fold increase in the levels of glycine in brain, and markedly elevated the concentrations of GABA in the major biogenic amine-containing cell groups only (substantia nigra, locus coeruleus and dorsal raphe).

Distribution and stress-induced increase of glutamate and aspartate levels in discrete brain nuclei of rats
TL;DR: Increased locomotor and behavioral activities due to a high dose of amphetamine resulted in a 2-5-fold increase of glutamate and aspartate concentrations, particularly in the biogenic amine-containing brain nuclei.

- 10 May 1989
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a composition for improving the efficiency of ruminant feed utilization, which comprises as active ingredient one or more microbial cultures, capable of adjusting the weight ratio of acetic acid to propionic acid to an optimum value, preferably to 1.5-4.0:1, and growing in the rumen and persisting there at least for 60 days.

- 27 Jun 1985
TL;DR: In this paper, a process for the preparation of 5H-2,3-benzodiazepine derivatives of general formula and their pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts, from one mole of a 1,5-diketone represented by the general formula, is described.
