On regularities and Fredholm theory
L. Lindeboom,H. Raubenheimer +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the relationship between the regularities and the Fredholm theory in a Banach algebra, and showed that the relation is not limited to regularities.
On Ideals of Generalised Invertible Elements in Banach Algebras
Rudi Brits,L. Lindeboom,H. Raubenheimer +2 more
- 01 Jan 2005
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors characterise ideals consisting of generalised invertible elements in a semisimple Banach algebra and show that they are generalizable in a sense similar to ours.

Rank and the Drazin inverse in Banach algebras
TL;DR: In this article, the relationship between the spectral rank and the Drazin index for elements belonging to the socle of an arbitrary, unital and semisimple Banach algebra with nonzero socle is investigated.
A note on the singular spectrum
L. Lindeboom,H. Raubenheimer +1 more
- 01 Jan 1998
TL;DR: In this paper, the singular spectrum of a Banach algebra element with the usual spectrum and exponential spectrum was compared, and it was shown that the exponential spectrum of the Banach element is more robust than the singular one.
