Micro-optical elements and their integration to glass and optoelectronic wafers
TL;DR: Polymer replication technique enables for low cost devices even in the case of aspheric or irregular shaped surfaces, submicron or other challenging structures as mentioned in this paper, but it is not suitable for high dimensional surfaces.

Integration of optical interconnects and optoelectronic elements on wafer-scale
TL;DR: In this paper, the UV-reaction molding technology enabling for the fabrication of microoptical elements with rectangular, triangular or circular cross-sections (waveguides, prisms, lenses) in optical polymers is described.

TL;DR: In this paper, a polarization-independent phase modulator with a voltage-length product of 24 Vcm at a 1.32-μm wavelength was presented. But the optical loss was determined to be 1.6 dB/cm by a modified two-prism method.
