3D-printed vascularized biofunctional scaffold for bone regeneration
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper added rat platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to a methacrylated gelatin (GelMA)/methacrylation alginate (AlgMA) system, which was further modified by a nanoclay, laponite (Lap).

Niobium promotes fracture healing in rats by regulating the PI3K-Akt signalling pathway: An in vivo and in vitro study
Jia Tan,Jiaxin Li,Bojun Cao,Jun Wu,Dinghao Luo,Zhaoyang Ran,L. Deng,Xiaoping Li,Wenbo Jiang,Kai Xie,Lei Wang,Yongqiang Hao +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , Niobium (Nb) has excellent biocompatibility and corrosion resistance, so it has the potential to be the most appropriate fixation material for internal fracture treatment, but not much attention has been paid to the use of Nb in the area of clinical implants.

Mechanosensitive miR-99b mediates the regulatory effect of matrix stiffness on bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell fate both in vitro and in vivo
TL;DR: In this article , the expression of miR-99b increased with increasing hydrogel stiffness and regulated the proliferation and differentiation of BMSCs seeded on the surface of substrates with different stiffnesses.

Accelerated fracture healing by osteogenic Ti45Nb implants through the PI3K–Akt signaling pathway
Jia Tan,Jiaxin Li,Zhaoyang Ran,Junxiang Wu,Dinghao Luo,Bojun Cao,L. Deng,Xiaoping Li,Wenbo Jiang,Kai Xie,Wei Wang,Yongqiang Hao +11 more
TL;DR: In vivo and in vitro experiments demonstrated that Ti45Nb exerts an excellent ability to promote fracture healing as well as enhance osteoblast differentiation by activating the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway, and its good biosafety has been confirmed, which indicates its clinical translation potential.

Influence of Mo micro-particles on crack formation, microstructure, and mechanical behaviour of laser powder bed fusion fabricated CuZrAl bulk metallic glass composites
Pei Wang,Yang Lei,Jiang Ma,Kaikai Song,L. Deng,Zhiyuan Liu,Zhangwei Chen,P. Ramasamy,Jürgen Eckert +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a new design principle, i.e., doping with refractory metal particles with a low diffusion rate to prevent the formation of cracks and to improve the mechanical properties of bulk metallic glass (BMG) composites, was put forward.
