TL;DR: In this article , a new immunocytokine, PD1-IL2v, was introduced, which overcomes the need for CD25 binding by docking in cis to PD-1.

TL;DR: The bispecific PD1-IL2v is a PD-1-targeted IL2 variant (IL-2v) immunocytokine with engineered IL-2 cis targeted to PD and abolished IL 2Rα binding, which enhances tumor-antigen-specific T cell activation while reducing regulatory T cell suppression as mentioned in this paper .

Beyond checkpoint inhibition: PD-1 cis-targeting of an IL-2Rβγ-biased interleukin-2 variant as a novel approach to build on checkpoint inhibition
TL;DR: In this paper , the immunocytokine PD1-IL2v was designed to overcome liabilities and improve efficacy of IL-2 therapies, which preferentially targets PD-1+ T-cells.

Pharmacologic Inhibitors of STAT3 or BCL6 Transcriptional Function Sensitize Lymphoma Cells to the Novel PD-1 Cis-Targeted PD1-IL2v Immunocytokine in a Murine Model
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors identify drugs that inhibit the transcriptional effects of these proteins based on a computational search of drugs that are known to be safe in humans, and which lead to gene expression changes opposite to that driven by each transcription factor.
