Molecular cloning of rat cardiac troponin I and analysis of troponin I isoform expression in developing rat heart.
TL;DR: During fetal and neonatal development, slow skeletal and cardiac troponin I isoforms are coexpressed in the rat heart and regulated in opposite directions, and the degree of primary sequence differences in these isoforms may result in important functional differences in the neonatal myocardium.

Regulation of the rat cardiac troponin I gene by the transcription factor GATA-4.
TL;DR: The results indicate that the proximal cardiac troponin I sequence is sufficient to support high levels of cardiac-specific gene expression and that the GATA-4 transcription factor regulates trop onin I-luciferase expression in vitro.
Partial duplication of the long arm of chromosome 5: a case due to balanced paternal translocation and review of the literature
TL;DR: Clinical and cytogenetic data obtained from six patients with partial duplications of two different long arm segments of chromosomes 5 suggest that partial duplication of the distal long arm of chromosome 5 is associated with microcephaly, hypertelorism, epicanthus, strabismus, large upper lip, low-set, dysplastic ears, in addition to growth and psychomotor retardation.

Partial trisomy of the short arm of chromosome 8 resulting from balanced maternal translocation.
TL;DR: Comparison of the clinical data obtained from patients with partial trisomy of the short arm of chromosome 8 with those of full trisome 8 (Warkany's syndrome) suggests that most of theclinical features of Warkany’s syndrome require excess material from both the short and long arm of chromosomes 8.
