TL;DR: In this paper, a fault diagnosis method and device of an optical fiber current transformer is presented, where the original optical path and a circuit structure of the transformer are kept unchanged, and the output data amount of "protection channel 1 data", ''protection channel 2 data'' and ''metering channel data'' are separately subjected to the relevant data treatment; and compared with a set threshold value, if a threshold range is exceeded, a relevant diagnostic program is started, and an early warning and an alarm hint are carried out.
