TL;DR: This study proposes a combined pumped storage/wind/photovoltaic/hydrogen production system to address grid instability and abandonment of wind and solar energy. A Simulink model is developed, and optimal pumped storage capacity and hydrogen production configuration are determined to minimize cost and ensure system stability.

TL;DR: In this paper , the storage capacity configuration algorithm based on the low-pass filtering principle and optimal time constant selection was proposed for photovoltaic power hydrogen production system, which can effectively reduce the 1 h maximum power variation of PV power generation.
