m6A modification confers thermal vulnerability to HPV E7 oncotranscripts via reverse regulation of its reader protein IGF2BP1 upon heat stress.
Ling-ling Wang,Guankai Zhan,Yasen Maimaitiyiming,Ying-Hao Su,Shitong Lin,Jinfeng Liu,Kunhui Su,Jiebo Lin,Shizhen Shen,Wentao He,Fenfen Wang,Jian Chen,Siqi Sun,Yite Xue,Jiaxin Gu,Xiaojing Chen,Jian Zhang,Lujia Zhang,Qianqian Wang,Kao-Jung Chang,Shih Hwa Chiou,Mikael Björklund,Hua Naranmandura,Xiaodong Cheng,Chih-Hung Hsu +24 more
TL;DR: In this article , a heat-treatment-based therapeutic strategy for HPV-associated malignancies by specifically downregulating E7 mRNA-IGF2BP1 oncogenic complex was proposed.

YTHDF2-mediated regulations bifurcate BHPF-induced programmed cell deaths
Jiebo Lin,Guankai Zhan,Jinfeng Liu,Yasen Maimaitiyiming,Zhiping Deng,Baohua Li,Kunhui Su,Jian Chen,Siqi Sun,Wanlin Zheng,Xianghui Yu,Feng He,Xiaodong Cheng,Ling-ling Wang,Bin Shen,Ziqin Yao,Xin-Quan Yang,Jian Zhang,Wentao He,Hengyu Wu,Hua Naranmandura,Kao-Jung Chang,Junxia Min,Jun Ma,Mikael Björklund,Peng-Fei Xu,Fudi Wang,Chih-Hung Hsu +27 more
TL;DR: YTHDF2-mediated regulations of m6A modifications bifurcate BHPF-induced programmed cell deaths in zebrafish and mammals, causing tissue-specific defects, including cardiac and vascular issues, through distinct mechanisms involving gch1 and sting1.

Bisphenol C induces developmental defects in liver and intestine through mTOR signaling in zebrafish (Danio rerio).
Jinfeng Liu,Jiebo Lin,Chen Jiafeng,Yasen Maimaitiyiming,Kunhui Su,Siqi Sun,Guankai Zhan,Chih-Hung Hsu +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluated the early developmental toxicity of BPA and studied the underlying mechanism in a zebrafish model and found BPA exposure leading to liver and intestinal developmental defects in zebra fish, which occurred via disruption of GPER-AKT-mTOR-RPS6 pathway.

RNA m 6 A Modification: The Mediator Between Cellular Stresses and Biological Effects
Lingfang Wang,Yasen Maimaitiyiming,Kunhui Su,Chih-Hung Hsu +3 more
- 01 Jan 2021
TL;DR: The involvement of m6A RNA modification in regulation of distinct stress responses is summarized and the recent advances in the underlying molecular mechanisms involved in these regulations are discussed to get a comprehensive picture of the functions of RNA m 6A modifications in response to cellular stresses.
