TL;DR: There were clear and sustained effects of the antibiotics on the gut microbial community with significant alterations in the representations of Bifidobacterium species in response to azithromycin (macrolide antibiotic), supported by significant increases identified in putative antibiotic resistance genes associated with macrolide resistance.

TL;DR: In this paper , the effects of growth hormone (GH) deficiency in the liver rather than adipose tissue affected the abundance of Bacteroidota and Firmicutes at phylum level as well as abundance of several genera such as Lactobacillus, Muribaculaceae, and Parasutterella.
