Influence of process parameters and its effects on friction stir welding of dissimilar aluminium alloy and its composites – a review
Kumar Uday,G. Rajamurugan +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors focused on the parameters used during welding to obtain good weld quality, and the FSW joint efficiency was obtained by selecting the optimal combination of tool rotation speed, welding speed, and applied axial load.

Exfoliation corrosion susceptibility on friction stir welded aluminium 6061/Cr2O3 composite
TL;DR: In this paper , the exfoliation corrosion behavior of friction stir welded aluminum composite was investigated, and the results showed that more material is lost at higher process parameters and extended hours of the test, forming higher surface deterioration.
