Production of Oxalic Acid as Influenced by the Application of Organic Residue and Its Effect on Phosphorus Uptake by Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) in an Inceptisol of North India
TL;DR: In this article, an experiment was conducted with five varieties of wheat (HD 2687, HD 2733, HD 2643, HD 2932 and HD 2894) and three levels of organic residue (a mixture of press mud, bagasse and rice straw in 1:1:1 ratio) i.e. 0, 5 and 10 t/ha.
Influence of phytosiderophore on iron and zinc uptake and rhizospheric microbial activity
M. L. Dotaniya,Dasharath Prasad,H. M. Meena,D. K. Jajoria,G. P. Narolia,K.K. Pingoliya,O. P. Meena,Kuldeep Kumar,B. P. Meena,Asha Ram,Hiranmoy Das,M. Sreenivasa Chari,Suresh Pal +12 more
TL;DR: Higher amount of carbon containing organic compounds enhanced the microbial activities in rhizosphere and alter the plant nutrient chemistry in soil and nutrient uptake mechanism in plants.

Pattern of phenolic content, antioxidant activity and senescence-related enzymes in granulated vs non-granulated juice-sacs of ‘Kinnow’ mandarin ( Citrus nobilis x C. deliciosa )
TL;DR: It can be concluded that total phenolics compounds, antioxidants and PAL enzyme activity have strongly negative co-relation; whereas, senescent-related enzymes such as LOX, and PME and rates of respiration or ethylene evolution have strongly positive relationships with the occurrence of granulation in ‘Kinnow’ mandarin.
Impact of Crop Residue Management on nutrient balance in rice-wheat cropping system in an Aquic hapludoll
M. L. Dotaniya,Meenakshi Sharma,Kuldeep Kumar,P. P. Singh +3 more
- 01 Feb 2013
TL;DR: An experiment conducted on rice-wheat cropping system under the Mollisol order of Pantnagarto study the effect of crop residue management practices on nutrient balance during 2005-2006.
