ALMA observations of the submillimetre hydrogen recombination line from the type 2 active nucleus of NGC 1068
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate the nature of clouds that can emit submm-RLs with model calculations, and they suggest that clouds with an electron density of $N_e$ of 10$^9$ cm$^{-3}$ can mainly contribute to broad submmRLs in terms of the line flux.
SXDF-ALMA 2 arcmin2 deep survey: Resolving and characterizing the infrared extragalactic background light down to 0.5 mJy
Yuki Yamaguchi,Yoichi Tamura,Kotaro Kohno,Itziar Aretxaga,James Dunlop,Bunyo Hatsukade,David H. Hughes,Soh Ikarashi,Shun Ishii,Rob Ivison,Rob Ivison,Takuma Izumi,Ryohei Kawabe,Ryohei Kawabe,Tadayuki Kodama,Minju Lee,Ryu Makiya,Ryu Makiya,Yuichi Matsuda,Kouichiro Nakanishi,Kouji Ohta,Wiphu Rujopakarn,Wiphu Rujopakarn,Ken-ichi Tadaki,Hideki Umehata,Wei-Hao Wang,Grant W. Wilson,Kiyoto Yabe,Min S. Yun +28 more
TL;DR: In this article, a multi-wavelength analysis of five submillimeter sources (S_1.1mm = 0.54-2.02 mJy) was presented, which indicated that their contribution to the infrared extragalactic background light is as large as that of bright SMGs.
NRO M33 All-Disk Survey of Giant Molecular Clouds (NRO MAGiC): II. Dense Gas Formation within Giant Molecular Clouds in M33
Sachiko Onodera,Nario Kuno,Tomoka Tosaki,Kazuyuki Muraoka,Rie E. Miura,Kotaro Kohno,Kouichiro Nakanishi,Tsuyoshi Sawada,Shinya Komugi,Hiroyuki Kaneko,Akihiko Hirota,Ryohei Kawabe +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported the results of their observations of the 12CO (J=1-0) and 12CO(J=3-2) line emission of 74 major giant molecular clouds (GMCs) within the galactocentric distance of 5.1 kpc in the Local Group galaxy M33.
Arclike Distribution of High CO (J = 3-2)/CO (J = 1-0) Ratio Gas Surrounding the Central Star Cluster of the Supergiant H II Region NGC 604
Tomoka Tosaki,Rie E. Miura,Tsuyoshi Sawada,N. Kuno,Kouichiro Nakanishi,Kotaro Kohno,Sachiko K. Okumura,Ryohei Kawabe +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported the discovery of a high CO (J = 3-2)/CO(J = 1-0) ratio gas with an arclike distribution surrounding the central star cluster of the supergiant H II region NGC 604 in the nearby spiral galaxy M33, based on multi-J CO observations of a 5' × 5' region of NGC604 conducted using the ASTE 10 m and NRO 45 m telescopes.
