Decentralized autonomous organizations as a new form of online governance arecollections of smart contracts deployed on a blockchain platform that intercede groupsof people. A growing number of Decentralized Autonomous Organization Platforms,such as Aragon and Colony, have been introduced in the market to facilitate thedevelopment process of such organizations. Selecting the best fitting platform ischallenging for the organizations, as a significant number of decision criteria, such aspopularity, developer availability, governance issues, and consistent documentation ofsuch platforms, should be considered. Additionally, decision-makers at theorganizations are not experts in every domain, so they must continuously acquirevolatile knowledge regarding such platforms and keep themselves updated.Accordingly, a decision model is required to analyze the decision criteria usingsystematic identification and evaluation of potential alternative solutions for adevelopment project. We have developed a theoretical framework to assist softwareengineers with a set of Multi-Criteria Decision-Making problems in software production.This study presents a decision model as a Multi-Criteria Decision-Making problem forthe decentralized autonomous organization platform selection problem. Weconducted three industry case studies in the context of three decentralizedautonomous organizations to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the decisionmodel in assisting decision-makers.

У статті розглянута розглянута діяльність таких небанківських кредитних установ в Україні як кредитні спілки, ломбарди та фінансові компанії. Наголошено, що призначення кредитної діяльності для цих установ є неоднаковим. Кредитні спілки є неприбутковими фінансовими установами. Кредитна діяльність цих установ спрямована на видачу дешевих кредитів своїм учасникам. Ломбарди та фінансові компанії, навпаки, націлені на отримання високого доходу від кредитної діяльності. Незважаючи на високі процентні ставки, кредитна діяльність фінансових компаній і ломбардів розвивається в країні дуже активно. Кредитні продукти цих установ є короткостроковими, дорогими та більш простими для отримання у порівнянні з банківськими кредитами. Захист майнових прав одержувачів таких кредитів в Україні є недостатнім. Зазначено, що посилення вимог регулятора до діяльності небанківських кредитних установ привело до очищення вітчизняного ринку кредитних послуг від неактивних учасників. Наголошено, що подальший розвиток кредитної діяльності в небанківському фінансовому секторі вимагає удосконалення його державного регулювання. Необхідним є більш надійний захист позичальників коштів з боку держави та підвищення їх фінансової грамотності.

Decentralized autonomous organization platforms, which support the creation of such organizations, are becoming increasingly popular, such as Aragon and Colony. Selecting the best fitting platform is challenging for organizations, as a significant number of decision criteria, such as popularity, developer availability, governance issues, and consistent documentation of such platforms, should be considered. Additionally, decision-makers at the organizations are not experts in every domain, so they must continuously acquire volatile knowledge regarding such platforms. Supporting decision-makers in selecting the right decentralized autonomous organizations by designing an effective decision model is the main objective of this study. We aim to provide more insight into their selection process and reduce time and effort significantly by designing a decision model. This study presents a decision model for the decentralized autonomous organization platform selection problem. The decision model captures knowledge regarding such platforms and concepts systematically. The decision model is based on an existing theoretical framework that assists software engineers with a set of Multi-Criteria Decision-Making problems in software production. We conducted three industry case studies in the context of three decentralized autonomous organizations to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the decision model in assisting decision-makers. The case study participants declared that the decision model provides significantly more insight into their selection process and reduces time and effort. We observe in the empirical evidence from the case studies that decision-makers can make more rational, efficient, and effective decisions with the decision model. Furthermore, the reusable form of captured knowledge regarding Decentralized Autonomous Organization Platforms can be employed by other researchers in their future investigations.

Cryptocurrency can be understood as a digital asset transacted among participants in the crypto economy. Every cryptocurrency must have an associated Blockchain. Blockchain is a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) which supports cryptocurrencies, this may be considered as the most promising disruptive technology in the industry 4.0 context. Decentralized finance (DeFi) is a Blockchain-based financial infrastructure, the term generally refers to an open, permissionless, and highly interoperable protocol stack built on public smart contract platforms, such as the Ethereum Blockchain. It replicates existing financial services in a more open and transparent way. DeFi does not rely on intermediaries and centralized institutions. Instead, it is based on open protocols and decentralized applications (Dapps). Considering that there are many digital coins, stablecoins and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), these currencies should interact among each other sometime. For this interaction the Information Technology elements play an important whole as enablers and IT strategic alignment. This paper considers the strategic alignment model proposed by Henderson and Venkatraman (1993) and Luftman (1996). This paper seeks to answer two main questions 1) What are the common IT elements in the DeFi? And 2) How the elements connect to the IT strategic alignment in DeFi? Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Results point out that there are many IT elements already mentioned by literature, however there is a lack in the literature about the connection between IT elements and IT strategic alignment in a Decentralized Finance (DeFi) architectural network. After final considerations, limitations and future research agenda are presented.

Modern decentralized technologies, such as distributed registries, blockchain, smart contracts and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAO), are becoming more popular every year. Therefore, the subject of our research, the results of which are presented in this article, is the processes of digitalization in the field of management control and key technologies that allow to organize an effective system of management control in a decentralized organization. The success of management control is determined not only by its ability to identify and correct undesirable deviations in a timely manner, but also by the presence of a special corporate culture based on trust and fairness. Moreover, a positive corporate culture reduces the need for a number of control procedures designed to compensate for the lack of trust within the company. This effect can also be seriously enhanced by modern digitalization technologies. The research methodology included a broad review of literature sources and a comparative analysis of modern concepts of decentralized management, as well as drawing conclusions about promising ways to evolve management control systems. The aim of the study is to identify the impact on management control systems of modern technologies such as blockchain, smart contracts and decentralized autonomous organizations. The authors summarized the experience of applying these technologies in management control systems, which are designed to ensure high individual and team performance to achieve the strategic goals of the company. The conclusion is that the blockchain-based decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) is changing the forms and methods of management control, increasing the role of collective decisions and opening the way for employee initiative. DAO can significantly reduce internal and external transaction costs, including costs associated with the management and operation of management control systems. Different procedures for approval, confirmation and verification, as well as the adoption of standard management decisions are unified and automated. Accordingly, the time and the total amount of effort spent by managers to perform routine actions related to monitoring and control of employees' actions is reduced. Decentralization of control also reduces the impact of administrative procedures and ensures a higher level of trust within the organization. The decentralized model of management control is relevant for various areas of business and management, but special prospects can be seen in the field of decentralized finance (DeFi), where a wide range of professional controllers and users can be involved in auditing smart contracts and identifying shortcomings in financial services.
