Improved CT Detection of Acute Herpes Simplex Virus Type 1 Encephalitis Based on a Frequency-Selective Nonlinear Blending: Comparison With MRI.
Malte Bongers,Georg Bier,Hendrik Ditt,Robert Beck,Ulrike Ernemann,Konstantin Nikolaou,Marius Horger +6 more
TL;DR: Frequency-selective nonlinear blending significantly increases contrast and detects brain parenchymal involvement in HSE more sensitively compared with unenhanced CT, and the sensitivity of best-contrast CT seems to be equal to that of DWI and almost as good as that of FLAIR.

Value of CT-Textural Features and Volume-Based PET Parameters in Comparison to Serologic Markers for Response Prediction in Patients with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma Undergoing CD19-CAR-T Cell Therapy
Christiane Reinert,Regine Mariette Perl,Christoph Faul,Claudia Lengerke,Konstantin Nikolaou,Helmut Dittmann,Wolfgang Bethge,Marius Horger +7 more
TL;DR: Volume-based PET parameters derived from PET/CT and CT-textural features have the potential to predict therapy response in patients with DLBCL undergoing CAR-T cell therapy.
68Ga-PSMA-PET/CT-directed IGRT/SBRT for oligometastases of recurrent prostate cancer after initial surgery
J. Marzec,J. Becker,Frank Paulsen,D. Wegener,Susann-Cathrin Olthof,Christina Pfannenberg,Johannes Schwenck,Jens Bedke,A. Stenzl,Konstantin Nikolaou,C la Fougère,C la Fougère,Daniel Zips,Daniel Zips,A. Müller +14 more
TL;DR: Reaching of nadir ≤0.1 or 0.2 ng/mL was associated by improved DMFS (distant metastases free survival) and could serve as a surrogate endpoint for RT of oligometastases after initial prostatectomy and could represent an acceptable toxicity profile and favorable biochemical response.

Prognostic value of perfusion CT in hepatocellular carcinoma treatment with sorafenib: comparison with mRECIST in longitudinal follow-up.
Sascha Kaufmann,Wolfgang M. Thaiss,Maximilian Schulze,Michael Bitzer,Ulrich M. Lauer,Konstantin Nikolaou,Marius Horger +6 more
TL;DR: Investigation of the impact of sorafenib-treatment on intralesional perfusion using perfusion computed tomography in HCC found decreased intralsional BF and HPI after two months of sorAFenib treatment predicts disease stabilization after four months, whereas AFP dynamics were of limited value.

Stroke while squeezing a pimple Traumatic rupture of a vulnerable carotid artery plaque
Tobias Freilinger,K. Dimitriadis,Konstantin Nikolaou,Maximilian F. Reiser,Martin Dichgans,Tobias Saam +5 more
TL;DR: A 63-year-old man, after squeezing a skin lesion in the left cervical region, developed right hand weakness and plaque imaging revealed a nonstenosing complicated AHA type VI plaque in theleft internal carotid artery near the site of manipulation.
