Search for appropriate experimental methods to create stable hind-limb ischemia in mouse.
Takako Goto,Naoto Fukuyama,Akira Aki,Kazuo Kanabuchi,Koji Kimura,Hiroyuki Taira,Etsuro Tanaka,Noriaki Wakana,Hidezo Mori,Hiroshi Inoue +9 more
TL;DR: The aim of the study is to verify previously used hind-limb ischemia models to find a standard method and found that severity of damage was markedly different among different methods.

Enhanced K-edge Angiography Utilizing Tantalum Plasma X-ray Generator in Conjunction with Gadolinium-Based Contrast Media
Eiichi Sato,Yasuomi Hayasi,Koji Kimura,Etsuro Tanaka,Hidezo Mori,Toshiaki Kawai,Takashi Inoue,Akira Ogawa,Shigehiro Sato,Kazuyoshi Takayama,Jun Onagawa,Hideaki Ido +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the tantalum plasma flash X-ray generator is used for performing high-speed enhanced K-edge angiography using cone beams because the K-series characteristic X-rays from the target are absorbed effectively by gadolinium-based contrast media.

Triiodothyronine Acutely Increases Blood Flow in the Ventricles and Kidneys of Anesthesized Rabbits
TL;DR: The results indicate that the vasodilatory response to T(3) is not uniform and occurs preferentially in major organs such as cardiac ventricles and kidneys; this may be relevant to the T( 3)-induced improvement of cardiac function.

Inhomogeneous vasodilatory responses of rat tail arteries to heat stress: evaluation by synchrotron radiation microangiography.
Eriko Kuwabara,Fujiya Furuyama,Kunihisa Ito,Etsuro Tanaka,Naoichiro Hattan,Hisanori Fujikura,Koji Kimura,Takako Goto,Takashi Hayashi,Hiroyuki Taira,Yoshiro Shinozaki,Keiji Umetani,Kazuyuki Hyodo,Kenkichi Tanioka,Ryo Mochizuki,Toshiaki Kawai,Shirosaku Koide,Hidezo Mori +17 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors performed an experiment using the microangiography of the caudal artery before and after heating up WKAH/HkmSlc rats to rectal temperature of 39 degrees C.

Enhanced K-edge plasma angiography achieved with tungsten Kα rays utilizing gadolinium-based contrast media
Eiichi Sato,Yasuomi Hayasi,Rudolf Germer,Koji Kimura,Etsuro Tanaka,Hidezo Mori,Toshiaki Kawai,Takashi Inoue,Akira Ogawa,Shigehiro Sato,Kazuyoshi Takayama,Hideaki Ido +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a tungsten plasma flash x-ray generator is used to perform high-speed enhanced K-edge angiography using cone beams because Kα rays from the target are absorbed effectively by gadolinium-based contrast media.
