Pentacopper(II) complexes of α-aminohydroxamic acids: uranyl-induced conversion of a 12-metallacrown-4 to a 15-metallacrown-5
TL;DR: Competition studies showed that even in the presence of a large excess of calcium(II), the 15-metallacrown-5 remained stable, and no exchange reactions between calcium( II) and uranyl were observed, and extraction of uranyl was also not detected in the Presence of a Large excess of 18-crown-6.

YF[MoO4] and YCl[MoO4]: two halide derivatives of yttrium ortho-oxomolybdate: syntheses, structures, and luminescence properties.
Thomas Schleid,Sabine Strobel,Peter K. Dorhout,Peter Nockemann,Koen Binnemans,Ingo Hartenbach +5 more
TL;DR: YF[MoO 4] seems to be a suitable material for doping to obtain luminescent materials because the Eu (3+)-doped compound shows an intense red luminescence, which has been spectroscopically investigated.

A new metallostar complex based on an aluminum(III) 8-hydroxyquinoline core as a potential bimodal contrast agent.
Elke Debroye,Geert Dehaen,Svetlana V. Eliseeva,Sophie Laurent,Luce Vander Elst,Robert N. Muller,Koen Binnemans,Tatjana N. Parac-Vogt +7 more
TL;DR: The high relaxivity and the photophysical properties of the [(Gd5)(3)Al(H(2)O)(3)](3-) metallostar compound, it can be considered as a lead compound for in vitro bimodal applications.

Molecular First Hyperpolarizability Data for Lanthanate Complexes Containing the Hemicyanine Chromophore
TL;DR: In this paper, the phase shift and the demodulation between immediate hyper-Rayleigh scattering and time-delayed multiphoton fluorescence as a function of modulation frequency have been determined with high precision for four lanthanate complexes containing the hemicyanine 1hexadecyl-4-{2-[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]ethenyl}pyridinium chromophore.
