TL;DR: In this paper, a lot of work focused on low temperature oxidation (< 400 °C) related to long-term dry storage of spent nuclear fuel is presented, based mainly on conventional X-ray techniques and more recently, synchrotron Xray and neutron diffraction have contributed to the understanding of the complex reaction mechanisms.

Dichloridobis(picolinohydrazide)cadmium(II)
TL;DR: The title compound [CdCl2(C6H7N3O)2] as mentioned in this paper was obtained unintentionally as a product of an attempted reaction of CdCl 2·2.5H2O and picolinic acid hydrazide, in order to obtain a cadmium(II) complex analogous to a 15-metallacrown-5 complex of the formula [MCu5L5]Xn, with M = a central metal ion, L = picolinically acid hydride and X = Cl−, but with cadm

Mesomorphism of Lanthanide(III) 4-Hexyloxybenzoates
TL;DR: The thermal properties of lanthanide(Ⅲ) 4-hexyloxybenzoates were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), polarising thermo-optical microscopy and synchrotron X-ray radiation as mentioned in this paper.
