Improving thermal and electrochemical performances of LiCoO2 cathode at high cut-off charge potentials by MF3 (M=Ce, Al) coating
Abdelmaula Aboulaich,Khalid Ouzaouit,Hakim Faqir,Abderrahman Kaddami,Intissar Benzakour,Ismail Akalay +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the surface coating of LiCoO 2 cathode particles with an average layer thickness about 12nm and 40nm for AlF 3 and CeF 3, respectively, was synthesized via co-precipitation method followed by a solid state reaction at 400°C.

High voltage stability and enhanced electrochemical performances of LiCoO2 by CeF3 coating
Abdelmaula Aboulaich,Khalid Ouzaouit,Hakim Faqir,Abderrahman Kaddami,Intissar Benzakour,Ismail Akalay +5 more
- 01 Dec 2015
TL;DR: Li et al. as mentioned in this paper developed LiCoO2 coating using Ce-based compounds and showed that the coating layer significantly enhances the cycling performance of LiCoCo2 cathode material, even at high cutoff potential.
Synthesis and characterization of Y2O3 partially coated ZnO for Highly efficient photocatalytic degradation of sulfamethazine
Mohamed Belghiti,Lekbira El Mersly,El Mountassir El Mouchtari,Salah Rafqah,Khalid Ouzaouit,Hakim Faqir,Intissar Benzakour,A. Oueriagli,Abdelkader Outzourhit +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of ZnO powder partially coated with a nanometric layer of Y2O3 on the treatment of water contaminated with organic pollutants was investigated, and the results proved that the partial coating with Y 2O3 enhances the photocatalytic activity with almost complete degradation of sulfamethazine antibiotic under UV-visible irradiation.
