Productivity enhancement of hemispherical solar still using Al 2 O 3 -water-based nanofluid and cooling the glass cover
Abdelkader Bellila,Mohammed El Hadi Attia,Abd Elnaby Kabeel,Abd Elnaby Kabeel,Mohamed Abdelgaied,Khalid Harby,Khalid Harby,Jihen Soli +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the influence of Al2O3-water nanofluid and the glass cover cooling technology by a water sprinkler on the performance of three hemispherical solar distillers.

Performance improvement of modified tubular solar still by employing vertical and inclined pin fins and external condenser: an experimental study.
TL;DR: Results show that the utilization of inclined pin fins represents a good option to improve the accumulative yield of tubular distillers.

Experimental investigation on the performance improvement of tubular solar still using floating black sponge layer
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed the use of floating sponge layers for increasing the rate of evaporation and thus improving the cumulative yield of the tubular distillers, and the results showed that the utilization of a floating sponge layer improved the performance of the distillation.
