TL;DR: Oral administration of perindopril to groups of 6 healthy males led to a long lasting and dose-elated inhibition of plasma ACE and rises in plasma renin activity with no evidence of accumulation of drug or effect.

TL;DR: Sustained atrial fibrillation was not associated with a significantly higher risk of recurrence after acute ischaemic stroke, suggesting that the risk profile associated with atrialfibrillation, rather than its pattern, is determinant for recurrence.

TL;DR: Subgroup analysis suggested that the patients who gained most benefit from rosuvastatin therapy were those with increased traditional risk factors, such as high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, which are likely to alter practice significantly in the future.
