TL;DR: In this article, a scoping review of the available evidence on the provision of vascular surgery education in the medical school curriculum worldwide is presented, and the most important positive determinants when choosing VS as a career were having a VS mentor, the technical aspects of VS, and participation in a VS rotation.

A systematic review of brachial artery ligation as a safe and feasible option in the management of arteriovenous dialysis access infection
TL;DR: A systematic review of brachial artery ligation (BAL) for infected arteriovenous grafts or fistulae is presented in this paper, where the primary outcome was the incidence of upper limb ischemia and secondary outcomes were the need for urgent revascularization and need for upper limb amputation.

The association between fluoroquinolones and aortic dissection and aortic aneurysms: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
TL;DR: With strong statistical association, these findings suggest a causal relationship, warranting future research to elucidate the pathophysiological and mechanistic plausibility of this association, and should not cease prescription of fluoroquinolones, especially when clinically indicated.
