Experimental platform for blockage detection and investigation using propagation of pressure pulse waves in a pipeline
TL;DR: In this paper, a pressure-pulse-wave blockage detection experimental system (PBDES) was developed for detecting and investigation using propagation of pressure pulse waves in laboratory.

Experimental Investigation of Gas Transmission Pipeline Blockage Detection Based on Dynamic Pressure Method
Kele Yan,Dianqiang Xu,Qiong Wang,Jia-Wen Chu,Shengjie Zhu,Jiafei Zhao +5 more
TL;DR: To improve the accuracy of the pressure pulse wave blockage detection technique, a series of experiments were carried out to detect and locate hydrate blockages in natural gas pipelines based on the pressure wave method using a separate pipeline system of 22 mm diameter and 106 m length.

Jiaqi Qiao,Fugui Qi,Fulai Liang,Jin Ma,Hao Lv,Xiao Yu,Huijun Xue,Qiang An,Kele Yan,Ding Shi,Yong-hui Qiao,Jianqing Wang,Yang Zhang +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a contactless multiscale cardiac motion measurement method is proposed using impulse radio ultra-wideband (IR-UWB) radar at a center frequency of 7.29 GHz.

TL;DR: Pressure pulse wave reflection and response characteristics of different gas pipeline blockage materials are investigated. The results show that the solid blocking material does not significantly impact the reflectivity and reflective properties of pressure waves, while different cross-sectional shapes have a noticeable impact on the reflectivity.
