TL;DR: Treatment with WT1 antisense oligomers specifically inhibited growth of glioblastoma cell lines, U87‐MG, A172, and T‐98G, and may indicate that the WT1 gene plays an important role in tumorigenesis of primary astrocytic tumors.

TL;DR: Results demonstrate that AML1-ETO may exert its leukemogenic function in cooperation with the expression of WT1, and all of the mice that received a transplant of AML-1- ETO-transduced BM cells from the WT1-Tg mice rapidly developed AML.
