Object form deciding method
Keiichi Motoyama,Arima Toshiyuki,Masatoshi Shirotori +2 more
- 02 Feb 1999
TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of deciding the form of an object capable of reducing aerodynamic noise caused by the object moving in fluid by generating a mesh on the surface of the object form was addressed.

A Study of Suspension Design Using Optimization Technique and DOE
Keiichi Motoyama,Takashi Yamanaka +1 more
- 01 Jan 2000
TL;DR: In this paper, a case study of suspension design using typical double wishbone suspension model was studied and discussed, and an optimization system for suspension design based on Genetic Algorithms was developed.

Estimation method for load acting on structure
Keiichi Motoyama
- 10 Apr 1998
TL;DR: In this article, the problem of obtaining an estimation method in which an estimated load is obtained by a simple computing operation by a method wherein strain measuring means or deflection measuring means are installed in (n) pieces of places, a reference load is applied to one place out of them, strains or deflections which are generated in a first place up to an nth place are measured so as to create a practical expression, and pieces of strain data are measured in a state that a structure is used actually and measured values are substituted in the practical expression.

Numerical analysis for aerodynamic noise reduction
Keiichi Motoyama,Toshiyuki Arima,Masatoshi Shirotori,Hideoki Yajima +3 more
- 02 Jun 1998
TL;DR: A program has been developed to change automatically the shape of the object to reduce the aerodynamic noise and the results obtained demonstrate that the algorithm can, indeed, reduce the amplitude of the aerodynamics noise.
